Your Day-to-Day

• Manage localized replacement hiring to support operational workforce requirements.
• Oversee employee onboarding, offboarding, and employment administration.
• Administer employee assets, system access, and uniform management.
• Serve as the first point of contact for general People & Culture enquiries and operational support.
• Provide on-ground People & Culture partnership to support regional business operations.
• Coach and advise line managers on people-related matters, policies, and best practices.
• Drive the execution of People & Culture initiatives and projects in alignment with HQ priorities.
• Ensure consistent implementation of People & Culture policies, processes, and standards across the region.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, governance requirements, and HR audit standards while safeguarding employee data confidentiality.

Your Know-How

• Minimum 4 years of relevant HR generalist, HRBP, or People & Culture experience, ideally with exposure to multi-site or regional coverage
• Experience in start-up, retail, fast pace environment.
• Proven ability to work independently on the ground with minimal supervision, exercising sound judgment on escalation and prioritisation while staying closely aligned with the central HR team
• Willingness to travel within the assigned regional cluster and work across CARSOME branch locations.
• A proactive, service-oriented mindset - able to sense issues early and route them to the right owner.
• Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• Self-Starter: High initiative with a positive attitude; able to work independently and as a team player.
• Resilience: Persuasive, friendly, people-oriented, and exceptionally detail-oriented.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a face-paced environment and manage the stress of a "start-up speed" expansion project ie 200% agility
