Job Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Business Development professional to drive business growth in the Malaysian market. The role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, generating qualified leads, developing customer and partner relationships, arranging B2B meetings, and converting prospects into business.

The ideal candidate should have strong B2B sales and new business development experience, understand the Malaysian market, and be comfortable working independently through client outreach, networking and field visits.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (KRA)

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the Malaysian market.
• Conduct market research to identify target customers, business opportunities and competitors.
• Generate qualified leads through cold calling, email/digital outreach, networking and field visits.
• Identify and engage potential customers, distributors, agents and business partners.
• Arrange and coordinate B2B sales meetings and business-matching opportunities.
• Build, manage and continuously develop the sales pipeline.
• Follow up with prospects and convert opportunities into customers and business partnerships.
• Represent the organization at client meetings, trade shows and business events.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts and activity reports.
• Provide regular updates on leads, meetings, opportunities, conversions and market insights.
• Maintain proper documentation related to business development activities and reporting requirements.
