About the role
This is a Storekeeper position responsible for warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling in a manufacturing environment. The role involves receiving and processing materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating stock transfers, and ensuring compliance with quality, environmental, and safety management systems.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming materials and cut parts, including stock-in and stock-out transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Perform truck loading or unloading of material receiving and goods delivery
- Maintain accurate inventory records to ensure alignment between physical stock and WMS data
- Control and monitor inventory levels, including replenishment based on reorder requirements
- Coordinate stock transfer of cut parts and semi-finished goods to production and machining processes
- Conduct quantity and quality inspections on cutting output according to the cutting plan
- Organize, store, and handle materials using proper storage practices and FIFO principles
- Perform routine, monthly, and annual stock checks and prepare inventory reports
- Provide real-time inventory data and analytical reports to support CNC cutting and production planning
- Control tools or equipment issuance to the production floor and arrange for faulty unit repair and spare part procurement
About you
- SPM/Diploma/Certificate in any field
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Storekeeper preferably in manufacturing environment
- Good computer skills with proficiency in SQL
- Knowledge in Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS) and Occupational, Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS)
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
