Full Time Site Safety Supervisor | Johor | 12-Month Contract Jobs, in Airswift Johor - Maukerja

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee all safety activities and practices on-site, ensuring compliance with the policies and regulations.
• Enforce safety measures across all phases of the project.
• Ensure that all work areas are free from hazards and conducive to a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of the site to identify potential risks or hazards and ensure appropriate safety protocols and risk mitigations are in place.
• Provide safety briefing and training to project teams and subcontractors.
• Develop, implement and manage emergency response plans and ensure emergency equipment is readily available and maintained.
• Perform submission for permit to work and ensure project progressive on-site without any EHS related interruption.

Other Responsibilities:

• Lead emergency drills and ensure that all personnel are trained and prepared for emergency situations.
• Lead investigation into safety incidents, near-misses, and accidents, analyzing root causes and suggesting corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and document safety-related occurrences and actions taken.

Requirements:

• Possess a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Yellow Book holder
• Possessing first aid and CPR certification and OSH related certification.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in safety supervisor or similar position
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels and influence safety behaviors.
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments and make quick decisions to ensure safety.
• Proficiency in BM & English
