An established electronic component MNC is on the lookout for a Commercial Director (SEA/USA)

Your new company
The client is a global manufacturer of electrical and electronic components serving the Industrial, Electric Vehicle (EV), Data Centre, and Energy markets. Our client has manufacturing operations in Malaysia and R&D centres across SEA and Europe. The company is seeking a commercially driven leader to spearhead regional growth initiatives and diversify applications of its product lines into new industries.

Your new role

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies across the SEA/USA market and identify new business opportunities and applications for High Voltage Connector products.
• Establish long-term partnerships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers and industrial customers
• Manage technical and commercial discussions alongside engineering teams.
• Support product roadmap discussions and new product introductions.
• Collaborate closely with operations, engineering and supply chain teams.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience managing sales, business development or key accounts across multiple countries, ideally covering South East Asia, the United States or other international markets.
  
• A consistent record of achieving revenue, order intake, profitability and market-growth targets within a technical, industrial or manufacturing environment.
  
• Demonstrated success in opening new markets, securing new customers and developing applications for existing products beyond their traditional customer base.
  
• Strong exposure to one or more of the following sectors - electrical and electronics, high voltage applications across data centres, EV, and the Industrial sector.
