Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Penang, Malaysia for a Business Services Finance Associate, Consultant, or Senior Consultant, depending on experience. The role involves supporting clients with finance-related aspects of global expansion, including assisting with accounting processes, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with local financial regulations. Team members will analyze financial data, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations that support clients’ international growth strategies. The position also involves participating in consulting engagements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to process improvements in financial and business services operations. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand their needs, deliver accurate and timely financial information, and help optimize their global business performance.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support sound business decisions.
• Candidates should possess Finance and Accounting skills to manage financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with relevant standards.
• Candidates should possess Consulting and Management Consulting skills to advise clients on business and financial strategies in an international context.
• Relevant experience in corporate finance, audit, or business services, preferably within a regional or global environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal; additional language skills are an advantage.
• Comfort working in a multicultural environment and collaborating with international stakeholders.
• Proficiency with common office and financial software tools (e.g., Excel, accounting systems); familiarity with ERP platforms is a plus.
