Full Time Manager, Procurement (Manufacturing Industry) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 11,000 in Armstrong Electronics Johor - Maukerja

1. Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.
• At least five years of progressive experience in procurement, purchasing, or sourcing, including two years supervising or leading a team in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in direct materials procurement, supplier negotiation, purchase order management, and delivery follow-up.
• Experience with plastics, rubber, foam, or similar materials, or in contract manufacturing, is preferred.
• Strong analytical, commercial, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and procurement or ERP systems.

2. Job Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing and purchasing for assigned materials, equipment, and services to support production needs.
• Review purchase requisitions, compare quotations, and process purchase orders within delegated authority.
• Negotiate commercial terms and monitor prices, spending, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Work with suppliers and internal teams to meet delivery schedules and resolve shortages, quality issues, and invoice discrepancies.
• Support supplier selection, qualification, onboarding, performance reviews, and audits.
• Monitor supply risks and support alternative sourcing, inventory planning, and safety stock decisions for critical items.
• Supervise and coach procurement personnel, assign work, and monitor team performance.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and improve procedures, reports, and performance measures.
• Support the Regional Manager, Procurement in departmental planning and improvement projects.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
