Job Purpose

Responsible for providing technical pre-sales support to the Sales team by understanding customer requirements and developing suitable ICT solutions, proposals and technical presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and propose suitable ICT solutions.
• Support Sales in preparing proposals, quotations, RFPs, RFIs and tenders.
• Prepare solution architecture, technical specifications and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations and PoCs when required.
• Work with technical, product and engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions are practical and achievable.
• Liaise with technology principals, vendors and partners for product and solution support.
• Keep updated on new technologies, products and market trends.
• Support Sales in customer meetings, technical discussions and solution presentations.
• Ensure proper technical handover to the Project/Delivery team after project award.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Technical Pre-Sales, Technical Sales, Solution Consulting or ICT-related roles.
• Good knowledge of ICT solutions, networking, cybersecurity, system integration and technology products/services.
• Experience in ICT tenders, RFP/RFI and proposal preparation.
• Good communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
• Able to translate customer requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Good relationship with hardware, software, networking and security principals is an advantage.
• Familiar with ePerolehan, and government procurement processes is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
