Description We are looking for a dedicated, responsible and skilled Chef / Tukang Masak to join our team in AKM, Pulau Pinang.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food according to our recipes and standards, maintaining food quality and hygiene, and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, cook and present food according to established recipes and quality standards.

- Ensure food is prepared consistently in terms of taste, quality and presentation.

- Manage daily kitchen preparation, including ingredient preparation and mise en place.

- Monitor the freshness and quality of ingredients.

- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and proper food handling practices in the kitchen.

- Ensure kitchen equipment and work areas are kept clean and organized.

- Monitor food portions and minimize food wastage.

- Assist with stock checking and inform management when ingredients need to be replenished.

- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures.

- Work closely with service staff and other kitchen team members.

- Assist in maintaining smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.

- Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

- Diploma in Culinary Arts / Culinary Studies is required.(Preferred fresh graduate)

- Previous experience as a Chef, Cook or in a similar position is an advantage.

- Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen hygiene.

- Able to work independently and as part of a team.

- Responsible, punctual, disciplined and committed to work.

- Able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

- Good attitude and willingness to learn.

- Able to start work immediately is preferred.
