- Job Position: Assistant Quantity SurveyorBasic Salary:- $3,000 - $5,000Working Area:- 47 Pandan Loop, Singapore 128263Working Hours:- 5.5 working days per week - Monday to Friday: 8.00am – 5.00pm - Saturday: 8.00am – 12.00pmJob Description:- Evaluate tenders and quotations.- Carry out quantity take-off for project tendering.- Source and review costs from trade suppliers and subcontractors.- Prepare preliminary design proposals for design and build projects.- Prepare cost comparisons for management approval.- Perform other quantity surveying related tasks as assigned.- Produce AutoCAD drawings.- Read and interpret M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) drawings.- Review technical standards, specifications, datasheets, calculations, and drawings.- Support and provide mechanical engineering design.- Handle design works and/or project management relevant to ACMV (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation).- Provide technical assistance to engineers.- Advise engineers on project administration and contractual issues.- Perform basic calculations for ACMV design.- Conduct design calculations, duct sizing, heat load calculations, cost estimation, and preparation of plans and detailed engineering designs.- Implement cost control measures.Requirements:- Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or equivalent.- Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers and subcontractors.- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.- 1-2 years of relevant working experience in the construction field.
