The College runs both analogue and digital mixing consoles and appropriate knowledge and experience in using such desks is paramount. Candidates should also have a working knowledge of the internal and external components of common audio and sound equipment and the knowledge to diagnose and fix issues alongside routinely maintaining all of the College equipment. Essential Duties
Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with vehicle repair and maintenance standards independently
(without supervision or very minimum supervision)
Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair independently
Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended independently
Communicates with Workshop Controller immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time independently
Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order independently
Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor
Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean. Notifies Workshop Controller immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle
Keeps workshop area neat and clean
Maintains and is accountable for all company owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as they were received
Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
Reports any workplace safety issues immediately to management
We are seeking an Audio visual Installation Technician to join our team and facilitate the seamless installation of audiovisual equipment in various types of rooms. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in installing and configuring endpoint devices, wall-mounted equipment, and ensuring optimal functionality of all components.
Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the Audio Visual & Engineering Technician is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all AV equipment. The incumbent is responsible to set-up, operate and troubleshoot the AV equipment, devices and systems and to ensure that the equipment is fully operational as and when needed. He/She is required to perform shift duties and other duties as may be arranged by the Director of Engineering or designate. The incumbent will also assist and guide guests and customers on the proper usage of the equipment.
OVERALL OBJECTIVES
Assist in providing technical support and setup of AV equipment to guests and colleagues.
Troubleshoot, maintain, upkeep, set-up, and operate all AV equipment, projection equipment and other devices.
Ensure that hotel guest room TV channels and transmission systems are up-to-date and is operational at all times
Assist in the repair and installation of all electrical works in guestrooms and hotel premises
To ensure all work requests are properly logged and executed and updated at the end of each shift duties.
To assist and supervise all works carried out by outsourced parties
To ensure all AV room and M&E plant keys are kept properly and readily accessible.

Possesses a Trade Certificate in Building / Electrical / Mechanical
Minimum 2 years hotel AV and/or engineering experiences

Able to perform shift work.
