Job Responsibilities: -
• Food Safety and Quality: To ensure that all food preparation and service meet safety and quality standards, including freshness and presentation.
• Quality Control: To monitor the quality and consistency of food and beverage offerings, addressing any issues promptly.
• Inventory Control: To oversee cafe inventory, including ordering, restocking, and minimizing waste to ensure product availability while managing costs.
• Café Ambiance: To maintain an inviting and aesthetically pleasing café environment, including seating arrangement, decor, and cleanliness.
• Menu Collaboration: To collaborate with HQ by gathering and incorporating customer feedback to enhance and update the cafe's menu offerings, aligning with customer preferences and seasonal changes.
• Compliance with Company Policies and Safety Standards: Ensure adherence to company policies and practices, including health and safety standards.
• Inventory Management: Oversee stock management, including ordering and return handling.
• Financial Management and Invoice Handling: Managing cash & point-of-sales (POS) handling, handle invoices and all document management.
• Store Layout: Create and maintain product displays and register products on shelves for optimum visibility.
• Maintenance and Safety: Manage keys, risk management (e.g. fire safety), and store cleanliness, including housekeeping.
• Customer Interaction: Handle customer inquiries, complaints, special orders, and serve customer calls.
• Customer Focus: Stay informed about customer preferences and trends to enhance the store’s offerings and address customer needs.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure their loyalty and satisfaction.
Job Requirements: -
• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Food & Beverage Services Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of working experience as a Café Manager and/or Retail Operation Manager.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• Required Skill(s): Have good interpersonal and communication skills, have a strong leadership quality, Able to work under pressure.
• The candidate must be able to work in AEON Mall Tebrau City, Johor Bharu.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cafe, including opening and closing procedures, food preparation, and customer service.
Hire, train, and supervise cafe staff, including baristas, servers, and kitchen personnel, to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain customers, increase sales, and enhance the overall customer experience.
