Role Description The Sr Design Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing and reviewing electrical systems and components, focusing on safe, reliable, and efficient power distribution and power systems for industrial and high-technology environments. Day-to-day activities include developing electrical schematics and layouts, performing calculations and simulations, preparing technical documentation and bills of materials, and ensuring designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing engineering to support prototyping, testing, and design validation, as well as resolving design issues during build and commissioning. The engineer will also participate in design reviews, provide technical guidance to junior team members, and support continuous improvement of design processes and tools. This is a contract, on-site role based in Bayan Lepas.
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), thermal management, and mechanical design, including stress and vibration analysis. The successful candidate will perform thermal, structural, and airflow simulations using Icepak and other engineering tools, develop mechanical designs for enclosures and cooling systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize both thermal and structural performance.
