In accordance with U.S. Government travel policies and regulations, plans, coordinates, and executes all official domestic and international travel for U.S. Government employees and eligible dependents, including airfare, lodging, and ancillary transportation requirements. Prepares and reviews official travel documentation; initiates and approves travel authorizations as the Travel Pool Approver in the E2 travel system; and issues in-country diplomatic notes to obtain travel permissions from the host government’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Oversee the day-to-day operations and performance of two Travel Management contractor staff (PST) assigned to the chancery, ensuring compliance with regulations and service standards. Provides frontline customer service support within the GSO Travel Section and serves as the Mission’s subject-matter expert on official travel policy, procedures, and entitlements.

Travel Card and Financial Oversight (25%) : Serves as CitiBank centrally billed account (CBA) cardholder, managing payment and oversight of all official travel airline tickets, verifying charges, and certifying invoices for timely vendor payment.
