As a Manager, you will manage the following: • Responsible for the aftercare of the Fund Admin team subsequent to the closure of the Hong Kong office • Accountable for the quality of the services delivered and procedures' validation and implementation • Periodic review of process to refresh understanding of requirements and review for compliance • Responsible for identifying areas where efficiencies and accuracy improvements can be made and implement a plan of action • Accountable for Global Servicing from operating location (includes shifts and work on bank / legal holidays and weekend when required) • Maintain statistics up to date (including daily team checklist update) • Maintain organizational relationship with Management line and other internal departments such as Fund Distribution, Custody, IMS and etc • Ensure effective resolution of enquiries • Promote quality of deliverables by motivating, coaching and developing team members What will you do? • To assist in training of new joiners. • Continue to provide refresher training for the team depending on the team’s level of competency. • Provide guidance on managing client queries and understanding the needs of each client. • To ensure complete handover from HK for aged breaks. • To drive the closure of aged breaks with the relevant parties with support from KL team. • Act as reference point for KL team when they are dealing with breaks of a new nature. • To assist in training the managers and supervisors on the managerial tasks within the team. • To review existing KPI and potential for enhancement to include accuracy rate. • Assess existing manual processes and to find any enhancement potential. • Maintain inventory of key controls. • Assist with escalation of operational issues. • To provide support and refresher training on special events. • To draft process notes for special events and bespoke processes. • To review existing fund factsheet in the system to ensure any bespoke requirement is captured. • AIS year end process training and preparation. • Provide support to KL in managing audit enquiry if any. • To run through with the team on previous year’s findings and action points. What do you need to succeed? Must-have • Post-secondary education with an accounting/finance concentration or equivalent experience. • 7+ years of relevant experience. • Experienced in relevant Securities Operations/Financial Services. • English Language (Written / Oral) Proficiency. • Proven experience in funds accounting / pricing / client reporting within Financial markets. • Demonstrated technical knowledge of fund products, fund accounting and systems and regulations. • PC literate in MSOffice applications. • Knowledge in Excel VBA, SQL will be an added advantage. • Proficiency in English language (written / oral) and interpersonal skills Nice-to-have • Able to work under pressure following tight deadlines and/or S.L.A. requirements • Able to work with others as a strong team player in a fast-paced environment • Willing to take on new challenges and result oriented • Compliant to rules and procedures • Independent, confident, self-motivated, pro-active and mature What’s in it for you?
