Support the team in planning and coordination of ad-hoc Chingay programmes that enable mass participation by the community, including but not limited to the conceptualisation and drafting of proposals, working with stakeholders, management of the logistic and administrative matters and execution of the programmes.
The trainee will undergo structured on-the-job training within the Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) Process Engineering team in a 300mm semiconductor wafer fabrication facility. The programme aims to equip the trainee with fundamental knowledge and practical skills in semiconductor manufacturing, process monitoring, statistical process control (SPC), data analysis, problem-solving methodologies, and continuous improvement. Under the guidance of experienced engineers, the trainee will support process monitoring activities and participate in improvement projects to enhance manufacturing quality, yield, and productivity.
The trainee will undergo a structured 6-month on-the-job training programme within the CMP Equipment Engineering team in a 300mm semiconductor wafer fabrication facility. The programme aims to develop practical knowledge and hands-on competencies in semiconductor equipment maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, spare parts management, and equipment performance monitoring. Under the guidance of experienced engineers, the trainee will support day-to-day equipment operations while developing the technical foundation required for an Equipment Associate Engineer role.
Conduct wet lab experiments involving protein purification and assays using various techniques such as fluorescence microscopy and nanopore sequencing;
About the LabOur Lab of AI & Compute at the Genome Institute of Singapore (GIS), A*STAR works in computational transcriptomics, with a focus on method development for long-read transcriptome analysis and RNA modification detection. We build the software and pipelines that turn sequencing data into biological insight.
