The Operational HSSE discipline partners with the Businesses to achieve Goal Zero by providing them with overall safety support and to ensure delivery of effective HSSE management processes. The discipline includes:
• HSE Generalists, who do general HSSE management and 'integrate' expertise from the various HSSE & SP disciplines without being necessarily experts themselves in these disciplines.
• Specialists in the management of the safety risks and barriers associated with Road and Operational hazards.
• Specialists delivering support to the Businesses and to the HSSE and SP disciplines in the fundamental areas of Behavioural HSSE, Contractor HSSE Management, Emergency Response, Incident Investigation and Learning, and Product Stewardship.
Typically:
• Portfolio has a stable external environment with low level of risks.
• Has limited exposure to / interaction with business leadership and external stakeholders.
• Signals HSSE risks and shortcomings.
• Manages multiple large operational HSSE projects.
• Works with moderate supervision, which requires a comprehensive combination of applied and theoretical knowledge. Job requires a solid understanding of standard principles. Applies standard techniques or procedures to assigned tasks.
1) To prepare, update and continuously improve Unimekar group of companies’ safety manual and operating instructions Group Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO Standard requirements compliance and be responsible for effective implementation of Health and safety rules and practices at site/factory/office working together with safety supervisor.
a. To ensure routine tests and inspections required by safety plan have been duly carried out and the results are properly recorded and reported to Supervisor/Manager, Main Safety Committee Chairman and the Management.
