Associate Director - Insurance Broking (Conventional Power Generation) required by highly successful global insurance broking business offering competitive package, flexible working and long term career progression opportunities.
The role:
Manage and develop a portfolio of clients in the power generation insurance sector.
Analyze insurance risks
Present tailored conventional power insurance solutions to clients, ensuring adequate coverage for risks.
Negotiate insurance policies with insurance companies, securing the best terms for clients.
Liaise with Claims Dept. to follow the claims settlement process.
Maintain close collaboration with insurance companies and service providers to ensure efficient policy and claims management.
Collaborate with clients to understand their specific insurance needs.
Continuously monitor the marine insurance market, identifying emerging trends and opportunities.
Requirements:
4+ years experience broking experience within conventional power industry
Excellent knowledge of conventional power generation insurance (coal fired / gas / combined cycle power plant)
Strong negotiation skills and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with clients and insurance companies.
Degree qualified in relevant field
A network of contacts in the conventional power generation industry is beneficial
