Machine operator supervisors coordinate and direct workers who set up and operate machines. They monitor the production process and the flow of materials, and they make sure that the products meet the requirements.
Responsibilities
1. Implement and enforce the Company’s HSE policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient HSE management and promote development of a healthy, safe and environment friendly work culture
2. Ensure compliance to OSHA, EQA, fire services and all other applicable laws, regulation and legal obligations
3.Prepare and establish safety manual for site operations
4. Conduct and promote HSE awareness, knowledge and information to all parties engaged at the site through toolbox meetinIgs, trainings, briefings and any appropriate communication media and/or engagement activities
5. Responsible for carrying out regular and ad hoc safety inspections and audits of office premises, workshops, laboratory, worksites, warehouse / stores and other facilities to detect existing and/or potential hazards or risks and to establish and implement corrective and preventive procedures
6. To conduct investigations of all accidents including near misses, relating to safety, health and environment. To identify possible causes and to provide and implement countermeasures as well as preventive measures
7. To maintain and update a comprehensive database of accidents, statistics and root cause analysis. To analyse the statistical data and prepare and provide monthly / quarterly / annual reports for management information, future planning and decision making
8. To establish and maintain harmonious rapport and liaison with DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, local authorities and other related Government agencies
9. Ensure permit to work are in place before any work of significant risks are carried out;
10. To ensure all the related safety SOP and Company policies are strictly adhered to
11. To work closely with other professionals engaged / working in the entire mining operations for an effective smooth execution of daily activities at site
Requirements
- Possess at least Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent
- At least 3 -7 Years of related working experience
- Good knowledge of safety in construction or quarry industries;
- Registered Safety & Health Officer with valid certification from DOSH - Green Book
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skill. Knowledgeable in Malaysian OSH Management System, standards and specifications.

Job description
- Install, inspect, maintain, and air conditioner in vehicles eg. Cars, lorries, excavators, light trucks, heavy-duty trucks, and other related equipment/parts such as compressors, condensers, and controls
- Locate the defective parts of the equipment or find out the cause of the problem to be able to fix it effectively.
- Plan a periodic maintenance schedule and execute the maintenance plan.
- Carry out maintenance checks on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems; clean evaporator drains pans, coils, and filters; lubricate fan and motor bearings; repair and change motors, electrical wiring, belts, compressors, thermostats, fans, floating elements, and defrost timers.
- Identify maintenance risk and propose counter measures or alternative solution.
- Troubleshooting both mechanical components and sophisticated electronic components.
- Understand how the system controls air temperature and are qualified to handle refrigerants safely.
- Estimating material and labour cost and determining plan and requirements for installing, fabricating, and start-up; testing, and servicing heavy vehicle air-conditioner (HVAC) equipment.
Job requirements
- Possess a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Air Conditioning and Refrigeration) or at least N21 – Certificate of Engineering Technology in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or “Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia Tahap 3 Penyeliaan, Pemasangan & Penyelenggaraan HVAC Teknologi Penyejukbekuan” or any related equivalent qualification.
- 5 years in repairing car or lorry or excavator air-conditioning.

Job Description
- Manage mechanic, foreman, maintenance executive, Technician and related worker’s workload, work performance, work quality, discipline, and duty roster.
- To create and maintain HME such as Excavator fleet, Dump Truck, Tractor, Bulldozer etc maintenance record.
- To diagnose various types of HME breakdown to enable predictive maintenance/repair for HME of similar model.
- To create spare part list for HME and manage spare part stock level. (Spare parts are kept in warehouse which is physically managed by a storekeeper)
- To analyse repair costs of various HME from the entire fleet.
- To improve uptime of HME by enabling scheduled maintenance, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance.
- To keep record of HME uptime and downtime and various breakdowns.
- To perform any other duties deemed necessary as instructed by the Superior.
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any other equivalent qualification.
- 6 - 10 years’ experience in supervision of HME works.
- Candidate with experience in maintaining Volvo, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi are advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in mining operations
- Able to plan maintenance work to meet the operations demands.
- Ability to lead a group of operators to achieve production targets
- Ability to work under pressure/overtime to meet deadlines.
- Articulate, strategic thinking, good problems solving skills
- Able to cope with the physical demands of the job
- Possess a high level of integrity, initiative, drive, commitment, and possess sense of urgency
