a. General Maintenance, troubleshooting & repair of production equipment, process pumps, etc. Should have good general skills including lubrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining, sheet metal, conveyor systems, overhead cranes and various production machines etc. b. Responsible for the repair and maintenance of machinery & equipment. c. Fabricates equipment & parts. Sharpens & repairs tools. d. Ability to perform routine service, setup, adjustment and repairs of steel mill manufacturing equipment (e.g. pumps, gear reducers, high speed winders, orbital saws, wrappers, packaging equipment). e. Installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of typical ball & roller bearings. f. Basic machinist tasks (e.g. lathes, Bridgeport, surface grinders). g. Perform Preventative tasks associated on heavy industrial manufacturing equipment. h. Must perform job duties in accordance to all regulations and policies including health and safety. i. Maintenance of all necessary documents as per Environment and safety Standards. j. Ensure subordinated are complied with all company rules and regulation especially safety regulation. k. Provide training such as off job training, on job training or coaching to improve their skills, knowledge and attitude for job effectiveness, efficiency and employee development.
