Reports to: Spa Manager
DUTIES :
1. Perform Massage Treatments: Administer a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, and Thai massage to clients.
2. Client Consultations: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their medical history, lifestyle, and specific concerns, and tailor massage treatments accordingly.
3. Maintain Spa Environment: Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and conducive to relaxation, adhering to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
4. Client Education: Educate clients about the benefits of regular massage therapy and recommend appropriate self-care techniques to enhance their overall well-being.
5. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client information, treatment sessions, and progress notes in accordance with company policies and procedures.
6. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other spa team members to ensure seamless coordination of services and exceptional guest experiences.
7. Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest massage techniques, industry trends, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS :
1. Education: Certification in Massage Therapy or a related field from a recognized institution.
2. Experience: Proven experience as a Masseur or Massage Therapist in a reputable spa or wellness center.
3. Skills: Proficiency in various massage techniques and a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
4. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach towards clients.
5. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service and client satisfaction.
6. Physical Ability: Physical stamina and dexterity to perform massages for extended periods and adapt techniques to clients' needs.
7. Professionalism: Professional demeanor, integrity, and a positive attitude towards work and colleagues.
