- • Responsible for preparing quantity take-off and measurement based on drawings, specifications and site requirements• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates and material quantity calculations• Source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and conduct price comparison• Assist in tender preparation, evaluation and negotiation with suppliers/subcontractors• Monitor project costs and ensure expenditure is within the approved budget• Prepare and evaluate variation orders, including cost impact and supporting documentation• Prepare progress claims and verify work done based on site progress• Verify subcontractor and supplier invoices, claims and supporting documents• Monitor material quantities, usage and wastage at site• Maintain proper records of project costs, contracts, quotations and payment documents• Prepare monthly cost reports and update project cost status for Management• Assist in preparation of final accounts and reconciliation of project costs• Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Team, Consultants, suppliers and subcontractors on commercial matters• Ensure all measurements, claims and cost documentation are accurate and properly maintained• Undertake any other tasks assigned by Management
