Prepares and distributes various admission forms; obtains signatures; receives payment, prepares receipts for bill payment and provides information for admission to patients. Provides patients with information by explaining hospital admission/pre-admission policies, time of admission, room selection, estimated cost, payment and other related information.
Notifies business office for pre-admissions. Assembles admission folders containing paperwork for scheduled patients. Enters demographic, financial and other information to pre-admissions database; confirms pre-admission information.
