I am looking for someone who can translate Tamil news reports into English on a regular basis (Mondays to Sundays). These are news broadcasts, so excellent listening skills and fast+stable internet connection are necessary. The chosen linguist must be flexible and agree to work in this timeslot as needed: Broadcast From 8:30pm to 9:30pm++ (UTC+8) + other time slots that may open up as per client order The news reports are to be searched for keywords, and then the translation must be immediately posted within the timeframe itself, hence the very quick turnaround. Also, as long as the linguist shows up for work, he/she will be paid in full for all the hours he/she was present, regardless if there was 5 relevant articles found and translated on that day, or Zero relevant articles were found at all. Mandatory Requirements: 1) Daily availability, including Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays 2) Fast, stable internet 3) Teamviewer software (free to download and use) 4) Excellent Tamil reading+listening skills and superb English writing skills 5) Skype (preferred) or google chat to make it easier to communicate in real-time during actual operations. 6) Never ever use Google Translate or any machine translation tool to handle any part of your work with us for any reason, no exceptions. The contract calls for 100% human translation, so we reserve the right to not pay any work that involved the use of such tools. Violation of this clause will also compel us to permanently remove you from our list of translators.
