Lead the design, formulation, and hands-on operation of extrusion equipment (single- and/or twin-screw) to develop fortified rice kernels and other elderly-friendly / texture-modified food products.
Advanced finite element analysis: Candidates must have hands-on experience with commercial or open-source FEA software (e.g., Abaqus, ANSYS, COMSOL), with the ability to develop complex models involving nonlinear material behavior and fracture prediction. Knowledge of composite-specific modeling techniques is essential.
Support the supervision of graduate and undergraduate students and contribute to laboratory operations, including equipment upkeep and safety compliance.
This role requires hands-on expert command of the full computational toolchain, end to end, the entire pipeline from first-principles defect physics through transport theory to machine-learning-based diagnostics
