Perform statutory audit to comply with Malaysia approved accounting standards

You will be responsible for portfolio of clients and special assignment to ensure that an organisation’s tax strategy complies with the tax laws through a system of controls, to minimise audit risks, optimise reporting procedures and drive the successful function of the tax department. Responsibilities: - Delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations in a timely manner, and ensure all filing deadlines are met. - Responsible for Financial statements preparation and XBRL filing. - Preparation of Corporate Tax submission. - Providing advisory for GST registration and deregistration service - Providing innovative tax planning and reviewing complex income tax returns - Communicate and liaise with broad range of accounting clients - Building relationships and interacting with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise - Maintaining confidentiality on all client’s information - Attending to tax queries from clients and tax authorities - Mitigate any risks associated with tax - Monitor developments in tax legislation - Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned Requirements: - Degree or Diploma in Finance/ Accountancy/ Banking/ Business Management/ Taxation or equivalent - At least 2 years of working experience in the related field and familiar with accounting standards and statutory requirements - Able to work in a fast-paced environment - Continuous improvement mindset and pleasant personality; systematic, process driven and focused on delivery of quality and timely work output Able to work independently as well as a team player

1. Able to carry out audit work independently, supervise and lead junior staffs. 2. Assist the Audit Manager for clearing the review notes raise by the Engagement Partner. 3. Ensure the audit assignments and other jobs assigned by the Management are properly carry out and meeting the deadlines. 4. Liaise with the Company Secretary and Income Tax Officer for completing the statutory records and information required by the management. 5. Any other jobs assigned by the Management. Job Requirements 1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or Equivalents. 2. Professional Accountancy Qualifications or Equivalents such as ACCA, CPA are added advantage. 3. Minimum 3 - 5 years working experience in accounting, auditing or equivalent. 4. At least 2 years of working experience in the related field required for this position. 5. Strong technical skills with proficiency in accounting, auditing standards and income tax act.

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Commerce, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent. Required language(s): English & Bahasa Malaysia 2-5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Fresh graduates and interns are welcomed. Required Skill(s): Auditing, Corporate & Personal Taxation, Administrative. Preferably Senior & Semi-Senior Executive specialized in Finance - Audit/Taxation or equivalent. Remuneration will be commensurate with experiences and qualifications.
