Ensure plant is running in safe, reliable and efficient manner;
Ensure products produce meet or exceed customer’s expectations;
Perform daily plant walk about, employing look listen and feel (LLF) methodology, to identify potential issues;
Adjust and regulate process parameters to achieve optimum running condition;
Analyze and react to warning alarms;
Identify and inform abnormal operation conditions to supervisor, take appropriate actions to bring back the plant to its normal operating conditions;
Perform routine operations according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP);
Coordinate with distribution/sales team or customer operations team for day-to-day production related matters;
Perform plant and equipment maintenance with support from maintenance team and external contractors/suppliers;
General housekeeping of site.
Candidate must possess at least a certificate or Diploma in Engineering, Mechanical, Process or equivalent;
At least two years working experience in Production / Process or related industries is required;
Experienced in maintenance will be an added advantage;
Applicants must be willing to work at Kerteh, Terengganu site;
Good command in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia;
Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office.
