Possess high fitness level and must be able to work under pressure.
High school diploma; food safety training and typhoid injection is a plus
Relevant prior work history and experience in a commercial kitchen
Knowledge of current food health safety regulations

Job Responsibilities
Measuring and preparing meal ingredients. Ensure that food products, presentation, and plating are of the highest quality, and are prepared to serve in a timely manner.
Early planning for meals by washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and seasoning different kinds of meat. Reheat all sauces.
Preparing basic salads and sauces for meals.
Receiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items are received in good quality.
Daily inventory stocktake counting and fill the inventory stock report.
Fill up the wastage report (wastage / wrong order). Disposing the expired and spoiled food items stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers.
Adherence to standard operating procedures.
Cleaning and ensuring that all the work stations are organized and properly sanitized following standard operating procedures..
Follow standards, procedures, department rules and sanitation requirements in cleanliness and hygiene.
Ensure that food presentation and plating are of the highest quality and served in a timely manner.
