THE KREARE is a design-and-build studio delivering high-specification residential projects - bungalows, semi-Ds, and premium condominiums - for clients who expect craft, not just construction.

We are not a mass renovation company. We take full ownership from concept to handover. Our projects involve custom millwork, imported materials, and coordinated specialist trades. The margin for error is low and the standard is high.

Requirements

  • Experience in interior design, renovation, construction, or related field

  • Strong understanding of drawings (2D plans, basic 3D awareness)

  • Highly organised with strong scheduling and coordination skills

  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously (2–4 active sites)

  • Strong communication skills (clients, vendors, contractors)

  • Proactive problem-solver—does not wait for instructions

  • Visiting project sites daily.

  • Deliveries arrive correctly and on time without your intervention

  • Fewer site issues caused by miscommunication or missing information

  • Experience in residential renovation projects (MY/SG context)

  • Familiar with site coordination and sequencing of trades

Non-negotiable requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years in interior fit-out, design-and-build, or construction management

  • Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously

  • Able to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings confidently

  • Firm and professional when managing subcontractors

  • Financially aware - understands how site decisions affect project margin

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (Malay is an advantage). We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Backgrounds we specifically welcome: Candidates from luxury retail fit-out, commercial interior construction, or hospitality ID execution are encouraged to apply. The coordination disciplines — millwork, specialist trades, phased handover — translate directly to high-end residential. We care more about your execution standard than which sector you came from.

    Your Role

    We are a design-led interior design and renovation firm managing residential projects from concept through completion. This role supports both design and site execution by coordinating drawings, schedules, vendors, and on-site activities.

    You will act as the central point of coordination - ensuring that projects move efficiently from design to build without delays, miscommunication, or costly mistakes.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Project Coordination & Scheduling

    • Develop and manage project timelines from design approval to completion

    • Coordinate renovation schedules, site works, and sequencing of trades

    • Track project milestones and flag delays proactively

    • Liaise with clients on scheduling, updates, and key milestones

    2. Drawings & Design Coordination

    • Review 2D and 3D drawings from freelancers for completeness and alignment with design intent

    • Coordinate revisions between designer and draftsman

    • Ensure drawings are ready for site execution (not just presentation quality)

    (Important: This is coordination, not design creation—but requires strong understanding of drawings.)

    3. Site & Execution Support

    • Assist with site supervision and documentation

    • Coordinate with contractors on site requirements and timelines

    • Ensure site instructions are clearly communicated and followed

    • Handle basic queries from clients and building management (MCST)

    4. Vendor & Delivery Management

    • Coordinate deliveries of materials, furniture, and fittings

    • Ensure correct items arrive on-site at the correct time

    • Liaise with suppliers on lead times, order status, and logistics

    • Resolve delivery issues, discrepancies, or delays

    5. Communication & Documentation

    • Maintain clear records of orders, schedules, and site updates

    • Provide timely updates to internal team, clients, and vendors

    • Organise project information so nothing gets lost or miscommunicated
