1.Program Leadership
• Lead the development and delivery of assigned vehicle programs and fleet projects.
• Establish project scope, timeline, and key milestones.
• Ensure cross-functional teams remain aligned to program objectives.
2.Technical Integration
• Coordinate technical integration between:
o Principals
o Body builder
o Engineering and technical teams
o Regulatory authorities (JPJ, PUSPAKOM, VTA)
• Ensure vehicle configuration meets technical specifications and operational requirements.
3.Supplier & Manufacturing Coordination
• Act as the primary interface between the company and:
o Principals
o Local/ International body builders
o Equipment suppliers
• Ensure production specifications, technical drawings, and component requirements are clearly communicated and approved.
4.Compliance & Certification
• Oversee preparation and submission of documents required for:
o Vehicle type approvals
o PUSPAKOM inspections
o Registration requirements
• Ensure vehicles meet local regulatory and safety standards.
5.Cost and Budget Control
• Track and monitor overall vehicle program cost including:
o Chassis procurement
o Superstructure fabrication
o Additional equipment and modifications
o Logistics and inspection costs
• Identify cost risks and propose mitigation strategies.
6.Production & Delivery Oversight
• Monitor production progress and ensure vehicles are completed according to schedule.
• Coordinate readiness for inspection, certification, and delivery.
• Ensure smooth handover to customers.
