QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- A recognized Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent.
- Good command in Bahasa Malaysia and English, both in writing and speaking. Knowledge in written and spoken Mandarin would be an advantage.
- IT proficient and familiar with the Microsoft Office software. Knowledge of computerized accounting software is essential.
- Possess good knowledge of the current financial accounting standards and guidelines.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES
This staff shall perform the functions of Accounts Officer and responsible for account payables, cash management, and related matters.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT
1. Account Payable
Prepare payment via cheque, bank draft and Online payment.
Print and compile the monthly Creditors Ageing and ensure that creditors > 365 days are paid off.
Compile monthly the fixed asset invoices and register in system.
Update the fixed asset sighting and tagging.
2. Interco
Responsible to ensure that intercompany balance reconciliations are prepared on monthly basis, checked and submitted to the Finance Manager for review
3. Fixed Asset
Responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s fixed asset records, including asset registration, tagging, tracking, transfer, and disposal processes. Ensure all fixed assets are properly recorded in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
Conduct periodic asset verification and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of asset listings and physical existence. Monitor capital expenditure documentation, depreciation schedules, and asset movements while maintaining proper supporting records for audit purposes.
Coordinate with departments regarding asset acquisition, maintenance, and disposal activities to ensure effective asset control and compliance with internal procedures.
4. Cash Management
Responsible for cash management inclusive preparing cheques for utilities, lease creditors, contract payment, and company tax payment, WHT payment and etc.
Responsible to ensure that the data are entered timely and accurately.
Responsible to monitor and clear any discrepancies arising from the above activities
5. Supervisory function
Responsible to supervise all the General Clerk in the same unit.
Responsible to monitor and improve quality objective in the unit
Responsible to inform the superior should there be any potential problem or deficiency in the current work system/process.
6. Treasury functions
Hold the combination number for the Safe box at Pharmacy’s Cashier unit. Required to open the safe box.
Hold the combination number for the Safe box at Accountant’s room.
Responsible in check bank balance.
7. Other related job
Responsible to compile and inform to all services for Departmental Profit & Loss Statement.
Any special assignment as and when required by Accountant.

1. To carried out duties as an employee as stipulated in occupational safety and Health Act Regulations 1994.
2. Ensure all policies and procedures of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001: 2004, OHSAS 18001: 2007, and / or Hospital Accreditation are adhered to and records maintained, if and when these programs are implemented.
3. Ensure the policies on patient’s and family’s rights are addressed at all times.

1. Practices Standard People Practice (SPP) at all times.
2. Ensures compliance of Patient safety goals as safety improvement measures recommended by World Alliance for Patient Safety.
3. Policies on patient and family rights are addressed at all times.
4. Participates actively and encourages compliance to all policies and Procedures.
5. Complies with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health.
6. To follow the ISO standard and requirement.
7. Carries out duties as an employee as stipulated in Occupational Safety and Health Act and Regulations 1994:-
a. To take reasonable care at work for the safety of yourself and other persons;
b. To co-operate with your employer or any other person in the discharge of any duty;
c. To wear or use any protective equipment or clothing provided by the employer
d. To comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health.
