Education & Experience

• Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Experience:Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in process engineering within a manufacturing or production environment.

• Specialization:Demonstrated experience inmaintenance improvement, asset reliability, or equipment optimization.

Skills & Competencies

• Language:Professional fluency inMandarin and English is mandatory to handle technical discussions and documentation.

• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; able to articulate complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Maturity & Leadership: A mature professional with strong problem-solving abilities, emotional intelligence, and the capability to work independently under pressure.

• Technical Tools: Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Minitab) and data analysis tools is highly preferred.

1. Process Optimization & Maintenance Improvement

• Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

• Design, implement, and oversee maintenance improvement strategies to minimize machine downtime and extend equipment lifecycles.

• Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) for chronic process failures and equipment breakdowns, implementing permanent corrective actions.

• Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules.

2. Project Management & Continuous Improvement

• Lead or support capital expenditure (CapEx) projects from conception to commissioning, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.

• Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.

3. Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration

• Act as a key bridge between local operations and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, HQ, or equipment vendors.

• Translate technical documentation, reports, and operational guidelines from Mandarin to English (and vice versa) as required.

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
