Responsibilities:

• Ability to read and interpret part drawings, including cosmetic requirements and dimensional tolerances.
• Skilled in using various measurement tools such as callipers, angle protractors, pin gauges, height gauges, micrometers, and others.
• Capable of identifying defects in sheet metal components (e.g., scratches, dents, misalignment, incorrect dimensions).
• Disciplined in recording inspection results and issuing NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) when products fail to meet specifications.
• Knowledge of QA/QC workflows including defect segregation, rework, and buy-off inspection.
• Perform incoming and in-process inspections of sheet metal components according to drawings and cosmetic/dimensional standards.
• Ensure products meet cosmetic requirements (surface finish, free of defects) and dimensional tolerances.
• Properly use measurement tools to verify product compliance.
• Issue NCRs for non-conforming products, supported with evidence and documentation.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain traceability for audits and customer requirements.
• Support the QA/QC team in ensuring on-time delivery (OTD) without quality issues.

Requirements:

• Minimum: SPM / SKM (Level 2 or 3) or equivalent vocational qualification in Metal Fabrication / Manufacturing Technology.
• Preferred: Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Quality Assurance.
• Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication, dimensional inspection, or QA/QC in a manufacturing environment (preferably with exposure to semiconductor industry customers).

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
