Clinic Assistant (Pembantu Klinik) MYA CLINIC
Job Summary

The Clinic Assistant is responsible for supporting daily clinic operations, assisting doctors and nurses in patient care, and ensuring smooth patient flow. This role requires professionalism, integrity, and compassion in delivering quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Registration & Front Desk

• Register patients accurately in the clinic system
• Verify patient details (IC, insurance panel, company panel)
• Collect consultation fees and issue receipts
• Manage appointment scheduling and walk-in patients
• Answer phone calls and respond to basic patient enquiries

2. Clinical Assistance

• Assist doctor during consultation and minor procedures
• Prepare consultation room before and after each patient
• Take and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, SpO₂, weight, height)
• Perform basic procedures (nebulizer, dressing, ECG, urine test, etc.) as trained
• Ensure medical instruments are clean and sterilized

3. Medication & Dispensing

• Prepare and dispense medications according to doctor’s prescription
• Label medications correctly with clear instructions
• Monitor stock levels of medicine and consumables
• Check expiry dates and maintain proper storage

4. Clinic Operations & Housekeeping

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of clinic premises
• Ensure proper waste disposal (clinical & general waste)
• Assist in stock ordering and inventory control
• Ensure smooth patient flow and minimize waiting time

5. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain accurate patient records
• Assist in preparing reports when required
• Ensure compliance with MOH regulations and clinic SOP
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
