Job description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and seasoned Account Executive to join our growing finance department. If you have a solid background in full-set accounting, financial reporting, and a passion for accuracy and efficiency, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

As our Account Executive, you will be responsible for:

  • Full-Set Accounting: Overseeing and managing the complete accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).
  • Financial Reporting: Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Compliance & Audit: Assisting with internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is prepared accurately and on time.
  • Tax Management: Handling all aspects of tax computations, submissions (e.g., SST, corporate tax), and liaison with tax authorities and the company’s tax agent.
  • Support process improvements and participate in ad hoc financial analyses or projects as assigned.
  • Mentorship: Providing guidance and support to junior accounts staff.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in an accounting role, preferably managing a full set of accounts.
  • Advance diploma or a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent professional qualification.
  • At least three (3) of the following professional certifications:

- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Chartered Certified Accountant (CCA)
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
- Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA)

  • Possess good knowledge of local accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (please specify, e.g., SQL, AutoCount, SAP) and skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Possess analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
