Key Responsibilities1️ On-Site Supervision

• Supervise daily mechanical and M&E construction activities, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, lifts/escalators, and other systems.
• Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, and adherence to schedule.
• Ensure compliance with safety and statutory requirements on site.

2️ Review & Verification

• Review and approve contractor submissions such as shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and commissioning plans.
• Inspect works and certify completed stages for interim payment claims (IPC) or stage payments.
• Identify non-conformance and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

3️ Coordination

• Liaise with contractors, design engineers, architects, and client representatives.
• Attend site progress meetings and provide technical guidance on mechanical matters.
• Resolve discrepancies between design and site conditions in coordination with the design team.

4️ Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Ensure mechanical works comply with contract specifications, local codes, and statutory regulations.
• Participate in QA/QC processes, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Monitor contractor adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.

5️ Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain site diaries, inspection reports, and photographic records of mechanical works.
• Prepare snag lists, monitor rectification of defects, and document completion.
• Assist in handover documentation, commissioning reports, and CCC (Certificate of Completion & Compliance).

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Graduate Engineer preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in site supervision of mechanical / M&E works
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, lifts/escalators, and other mechanical systems
• Knowledge of statutory requirements, QA/QC, and contract administration
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: From RM4,000.00 per month
