Payroll processing by taking on such tasks as updating payroll data and managing payroll system, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with payroll/statutory filing.
Process employee data (new hires, changes, additional earnings) and remuneration/pay accurately based on the info supplied by the HR team
Develop in depth understanding of Payroll Database to be able to create Ad-Hoc reports on demand
Represent the Payroll Department at Onboarding seminars for new hire orientation.
Manage employee pay slip distribution process
Provide relevant input for the preparation of the payroll journal
Manage employees claims process which may include claim verification and disbursement
Provide customer service to employees which may includethe area of pay, benefits and taxes as they relate to their pay, how to enter time or time off , where to locate forms and information on company?s intranet, where to send completed forms, who to contact for benefit questions and how to obtain Tax instructions on withholding issues as well asregistering for or resetting access to online pay slips
Adhere to Malaysian Manpower regulations at all times and keep updated with the latest changes/development of local requirements
Review, reconcile, and analyse? payroll reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
Provide administrative support and assist with management assigned tasks
Compile financial, tax and payroll reports for external purposes
Associate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
Minimum 3 year in Payroll/Accounting experience
Minimum 2 years of experience in IT/BPO Industry, or relevant experience
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in local language and English and good interpersonal skills
Mature, diligent and conscientious in meeting deadlines and work under pressure
Ability to work under limited supervision and perform multi-tasking
Must be computer literate with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, with? an advanced knowledge of Excel
Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to make well thought out decisions
