Warehouse Assistant

Job Summary

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods. This role involves picking and packing orders, conducting inventory counts, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The Warehouse Assistant will collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Organize and store products in designated locations.
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for shipment.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in inventory management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management systems is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
