Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on and practical Formulation Chemist to develop and optimize dishwashing paste and Liquid home care products. This role focuses on creating stable, cost-effective, and high-performance formulations suitable for commercial production.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Development

• Develop and improve dishwashing paste formulations (cleaning performance, foam, fragrance stability, texture)
• Benchmark and reverse engineer competitor products

2. Production & Scale-Up

• Translate lab formulations into production-scale batches
• Establish SOP and Troubleshoot issues

Requirements

Must-Have:

• Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or related field
• 2–5 years experience in detergent / home care / personal care formulation
• Strong understanding of viscosity control and formulation stability

Preferred:

• Experience specifically in Paste or Liquid formulations
• Exposure to cost-down or value engineering projects
• Familiar with scaling up from lab to production
• Knowledge of Malaysian raw material suppliers
