Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Generate and present regular financial reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budgetary performance and provide insights into any variances.
General Ledger Management:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Monitor cash flow and manage payment schedules.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and liaise with auditors during financial audits.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Provide recommendations for improving financial performance.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial operations.
- Implement and streamline accounting procedures for increased efficiency.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to achieve organizational goals.
- Provide guidance and support to junior finance staff.
Technology Utilization:
- Utilize accounting software and other financial tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements in finance.
Ad hoc Projects:
- Participate in special projects or initiatives as assigned by senior management.
Must obtain MIA Membership
