• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

• Approximately 7 - 10 years of experience in steam turbine, rotating equipment, power plant, or related mechanical engineering environments.

• Strong experience in turbine retrofit, upgrade, overhaul, aftermarket, or maintenance-related projects.

• Good understanding of thermal power plant systems and rotating equipment operations.

• Familiarity with mechanical troubleshooting, reliability improvement, outage activities, and equipment lifecycle management.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, P&ID, GA drawings, and engineering specifications.

• Experience in technical proposal preparation, costing, tendering, or customer-facing engineering support is preferred.

• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Willing to travel regionally when required.

Customer & Opportunity Management

• Identify business opportunities related to steam turbine retrofit, upgrade, maintenance, overhaul, and efficiency improvement projects.

• Engage customers to understand operational challenges, technical requirements, and plant maintenance objectives.

• Support technical discussions, site evaluations, and solution clarification activities during proposal stages.

Technical Solution Development

• Develop technically feasible and cost-effective solutions for steam turbine and rotating equipment systems.

• Prepare technical recommendations to improve equipment reliability, performance, lifecycle, and operational efficiency.

• Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, and regional teams to develop complete project solutions.

• Review technical specifications, drawings, plant data, and customer requirements to support proposal preparation.

Proposal & Commercial Support

• Prepare technical proposals, cost estimations, tender submissions, and supporting documentation.

• Support techno-commercial evaluations, project risk assessments, and scope clarifications.

• Align technical solutions with commercial requirements, project schedules, and customer expectations.

Project & Technical Support

• Provide technical support during project execution, outage planning, installation, or commissioning activities when required.

• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis related to steam turbine and rotating equipment issues.

• Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely submission of technical deliverables.
