About the role:

This is a full-time Accounts Manager position at Mountain Torq Sdn Bhd based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

The role is responsible for providing strategic financial accounting and reporting support the business operation.

Responsibilities:

1.Preparing monthly financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.

2.Performing month-end and year-end accounting activities such as reconciliations, accruals, and provisions.

3.Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.

4.Providing ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.

5.Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies.

6.Mentoring and supporting junior members of the accounts team.

7.Collaborating with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.

What we're looking for:

1.Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.

2.Extensive experience in financial accounting and reporting for a medium to large organisation.

3.Proficient in the use of financial software and spreadsheet applications.

4.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

5.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

6.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

7.Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and regulations

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
