Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and organized Sales Coordinator to support the sales team in handling client inquiries, event coordination, quotation preparation, and overall sales administration. The candidate will play an important role in ensuring smooth communication between clients and internal departments for event arrangements at the convention centre.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team in managing daily sales operations and client follow-ups.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, invoices, and related sales documents.
- Handle customer inquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and walk-ins.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth event arrangements.
- Maintain and update customer databases, bookings, and sales records.
- Support site visits and meeting arrangements with potential clients.
- Follow up with clients regarding event confirmations, payments, and documentation.
- Assist in achieving company sales targets and business objectives.
- Prepare weekly or monthly sales reports when required.
- Perform other administrative duties assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in hospitality, events, banquet, or convention centre industry will be an advantage.
Pay: RM1,800.00 per month
