Post Basic Midwifery or Post Basic in Intensive Care Nursing
Minimum 5 years and above in clinical and experienced in OG teaching feild or ICU teaching feild
Minimum Diploma in Nursing & registered with Malaysian Nursing Board.
Valid Annual Practicing Certificate.
Supervisory experience is an added advantage.
Teaching methodology / clinical teaching/ preceptorship in related fields.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

As Clinical Resource Nurse (CRN) to coach, educate and supervise nursing staff to ensure the practice of nursing and health related subjects is in accordance to set policies and standards of the organization. To propose and implement positive changes to enhance standard of Nursing care.
Job Scope:
Monitors performance of nursing staff to ensure competencies and nursing practices is in accordance with established policies and standards.
Close and constant supervision of nursing staff
Develop, implement and monitor process improvement initiatives to continuously enhance the level of nursing staff’s competency and efficiency.
Anticipating potential risk and execute appropriate action to ensure safe environment i.e. practice and adhere to infection control guidelines and policy.
Demonstrating operational knowledge of nursing procedure applicable to area of assignment.
Assuming leadership role for others to prepare and assist them with their responsibilities in the unit.
Work as part of a health care team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care and implement interventions.
Maintaining sterility of equipment and supplies, use of disinfectant as per infection control guidelines.
Demonstrate positive attitude towards responsibilities, work place and colleagues by adhering to company rules and policy i.e. punctual to work.
Ensure effective coordination with other department for timely delivery of patients’ treatment and investigation.
Perform other appropriate tasks assigned within the realm of staff knowledge, skills and ability and answer patients' calls and determine how to assist them
Motivating and coaching nurses to attain high skills level to meet daily requirements. It is achieved by:
Facilitate continuous development and upgrading of skills.
Assist to ensure staffs are competent by completing a competency/orientation checklist.
Developed and promotes effective communications with team members.
Assist in auditing to monitor effectiveness of service delivery.
Assist in Constant monitoring of staff performance and provide appropriate recognition.
Organizing discussions and counselling session as required.
Support and facilitate Nursing professional training.
