About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Site Safety Supervisor to join our team at SUI YUEN AIR CONDITIONING ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. for a 12-month contract position based in Gua Musang, Kelantan. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our construction project site, with a focus on protecting the wellbeing of our workers and the surrounding community.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential health, safety, and environmental risks
• Implementing and monitoring safety protocols, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices
• Investigating and reporting on any incidents or accidents, and working with the team to implement corrective actions
• Liaising with project managers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless coordination and communication on all safety-related matters
• Maintaining comprehensive records and documentation related to the site's health, safety, and environmental performance
• Providing guidance and support to site workers on the importance of safe work practices and environmental protection

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Safety Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry
• Thorough understanding of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as the ability to interpret and apply them effectively
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all stakeholders
• Proven track record of successfully implementing safety programs and initiatives that have led to improved safety performance
• Proficiency in using safety-related software and technologies
