Hotel Lobby and Driveway

Duties and Responsibilities

• To maintain close surveillance on individuals use guest lift lobby and surrounding areas. Security personnel should approach any suspicious or undesirable individuals in a polite manner to inquire about their purpose of being in the area. Non-guests or visitors should be directed to the Reception for further assistance.
• To ensure that off-duty staff or former employees who were terminated due to disciplinary issues do not loiter or frequent the lobby area.
• To assist the Duty Manager whenever required on matters related to security.
• To ensure smooth traffic flow at the hotel driveway and prevent any vehicles from causing obstruction.
• To record the registration numbers of taxis that drop off or pick up passengers at the hotel.

Patrolling

Duties and Responsibilities

• To ensure that all guest rooms are properly locked and secured.
• To ensure that all floor pantry rooms are properly locked and secured at all times.
• To inspect and ensure that all firefighting equipment, such as portable fire extinguishers, hose reel break glass points, sprinkler valves, and smoke detectors, are in proper working condition.
• To ensure that all fire doors are properly closed and that emergency staircases remain clear and free from any obstruction.
• To ensure that any items found on the guest floors are handed over to the Housekeeping Department and properly recorded in the “Lost and Found” logbook.

*Any other duties as Security Personnel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,750.00 per month

• Hospitality: 1 year (Preferred)
• Security: 1 year (Preferred)
