Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present high-quality pastries, desserts, cakes, and bakery items
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
• Assist in daily pastry kitchen operations and production planning
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards
• Monitor ingredient quality, stock levels, and minimize wastage
• Support seasonal menu development and creative dessert presentation

Technical Responsibilities:

• Skilled in pastry, baking, cake decoration, and dessert preparation
• Knowledge of various baking techniques and pastry equipment
• Familiar with chocolate work, bread making, and plated desserts
• Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients
• Knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in pastry or bakery operations
• Experience in hotel or restaurant environment preferred
• Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about pastry arts
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
