Full Time Indian Chef Jobs, Salary up to MYR 5,500 in DUSIT PRINCESS MELAKA Melaka - Maukerja

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook authentic Indian cuisine with consistency and high quality
• Ensure smooth daily kitchen operations during service hours
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times
• Assist in menu preparation and food presentation
• Monitor food quality, stock levels, and minimize wastage
• Work closely with the culinary team to deliver excellent guest experience

Technical Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of Indian spices, curry preparation, and traditional cooking methods
• Ability to prepare North & South Indian dishes independently
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment handling and maintenance
• Familiar with HACCP and food hygiene practices
• Ability to control portioning and food cost effectively
• Experience in buffet and à la carte preparation is an added advantage

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Indian cuisine
• Experience in hotel or restaurant environment preferred
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Able to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Positive attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
