Technician (Building)

Basic: RM1800 – RM2500 (Depending on qualification and experience)

Working Location: Nilai

Working Days & Hours:

Mon to Fri: 9.00 AM to 6.00 PM

Sat: 9.00 AM to 1.00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Attend to daily maintenance complaints promptly and carry out site inspections
• Perform minor repair works and coordinate contractors for major repairs
• Conduct regular checks on M&E systems, common areas, security, cleaning, refuse disposal, and landscaping
• Monitor lift operations and maintain records of breakdowns, repairs, spare parts replacement, and vandalism
• Inspect and ensure proper labeling of electrical switches, fuses, and building services
• Ensure no unauthorized renovation, electrical works, piping, or structural modifications are carried out without approval
• Ensure firefighting systems and equipment comply with BOMBA requirements
• Inspect pumps and critical equipment weekly in accordance with SOPs
• Record daily electricity and water consumption
• Supervise service contracts and ensure work is completed efficiently and safely

Requirements

• Certificate / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Maintenance, or related field
• Experience in strata, property, or building maintenance will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of M&E systems, lifts, pumps, and firefighting equipment
• Able to respond to maintenance issues and emergencies when required
• Good record-keeping and communication skills

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
