You will be working in a commercial kitchen handling inflight meals for airline clients, with the following responsibilities
Retrieve transit trolleys and empty oven racks from clean areas, verifying quantities and ensuring they are clean and in good condition
Pick and transfer oven sleeves between thawing and oven racks, in accordance to airline requirements.
Load filled oven racks onto transit trolleys and transfer over to other departments for follow-up actions.
Ensure proper recording and submission of the necessary food safety compliance documents
Ensuring timely replenishment and availability of necessary items for ongoing operations.
Ensure timely and efficient removal of meals that are no longer within quality standards, as flagged out by the system.
Perform basic trouble shooting or manual recovery handling of any error flagged out by the system.
Maintain proper housekeeping of work area and ensure good hygiene standards, follow safety and health procedures at workplace.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Comfortable to work in a mutlicultural team
Be able to lift Catering materials weighing up to 15 kgs
Ability to read and speak English to use PC and computer systems related to area of works, and liaise with stakeholders for hand-over of meals
Comfortable with 6 days work-week on rotating shift
